Pininfarina BLUECAR in production to rent a car

Companies Pininfarina and Bollore Cecomp have signed an agreement which will be produced within a few thousand electric cars for car sharing service implemented by the French.

Under the agreement, 4,000 electric cars will be built at Pininfarina Bairo Canavese plant, which are derived from the concept Pininfarina BLUECAR (formerly known as the B0), a project presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2008.

BMW has reported record profits for 2010, more than analysts' expectations
